Summer of #Everything - Satisfied Fully

If there is a question, God has not just an answer, but an answer that will satisfy us fully.

Summer of #Everything - Pursuit

Consider the fact that God never stops pursuing people, no matter how badly we stumble or how far we run, God still wants us to turn to Him.

Summer of #Everything - Discipleship

"Jesus Christ calls service what we are to Him, not what we do for Him. Discipleship is based on devotion to Jesus Christ, not on adherence to a belief or creed."
- Oswald Chambers

Summer of #Everything - Satisfied

Contemplate how God has given us everything we need to live. It's mind blowing to think that all the desires and needs of our heart can be satisfied in God.

Summer of #Everything - Surrender

Surrender is a concept that by necessity requires "everything" to work. In order to be giving it our all, we must be willing to do that which we know to be our duty, whether it is easy or hard. Yet it is incredible to think that if we do our part, God will do His! Consider today how we can be better at that.

The Summer of #Everything Challenge - Breathing

The summer of #everything is here...based off of 1 Corinthians 10:31. Was Paul serious? Everything we do should bring glory to the name of the Lord? How is that even possible?

Each day we hope to place a thought or devotional for you to consider for the day. Today, I want to challenge you with breathing...yes, inhaling and exhaling...you know, the thing that keeps you alive that we often take for granted. How can we glorify God by breathing?

Think of it this way...If God created us, and we are His...if He put breath in our lungs, then shouldn't each breath go back to him? Think about it...if they are His anyway, what re ways that we can give each breath back?

Summer of #Everything Challenge - First Post

Hey everyone! Since this is the "summer of everything", we'll be posting various and sundry devotional thoughts to think about and discuss.

Today's thought:
When we become Christians, we surrender our lives over to God and our stories become part of the story He is writing. If someone observed us continually and could see into our thoughts, what would they conclude our lives were "saying"? What do we want them to say?
